Mark
Watt

Mark Watt was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
in 1960 and currently resides in Mississauga, Ontario.
Mark's interest in aviation started at a
very young age, as his father (John) worked as a Captain
for Air Canada and Test Pilot for Dehavilland Canada,
exposing Mark to a wide variety of aviation interests,
including WWII aircraft.
Mark got his pilots license at the age
of 19 and has been flying commercially ever since. First
flying in the Canadian north on floats, then for several
charter and connector airlines. He has also flown
numerous corporate aircraft and for the last 21 years
has flown for Air Canada where he is currently a
Captain/Instructor on the A320 series of aircraft. Mark
has flown over 70 types of aircraft, including the Sea
Fury, P-51D Mustang, F4F-3 Wildcat, and other WWII
aircraft.
Mark attends airshows around the world, both as a
pilot and photographer, and has had his photos featured in both English and
French magazines. Some of these
include: Classic Wings, Warbird Digest, Air Classics,
Warbirds International, Air and Space Magazine, Flypast,
Aiorcraft, Canadian Aviator, Aeroplane, Air International, Le Fana de l'Aviation
as well as programs for the Reno Air Races and the 2007
Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.
Mark is also currently a member of Warbirds of America, EAA
and Planes of Fame Air Museum and is a founder of the Warbird Depot
website along with Doug Fisher and Jim Buckel.
