1.

North American P-51D “Sparky” is seen being flown by owner Brant Seghetti, on his way home from the Nevada County Air Fest in Auburn, California. Brant, his dad Steve, and Sparky have been a regular fixture at the National Championship Air Races (NCAR) in Reno, Nevada for the past 20 years as race number of 44. Built in December of 1944, “Sparky” was assigned to the 15th Air Force, 52nd Fighter Group, 5th Fighter Squadron at Piagilolino Airfield in Italy, April of 1945. Two kills were made in this airframe while assigned to Major Ralph “Doc” Watson, deputy Wing Commander of the 15th Air Force overseeing four Fighter Groups, making him an Ace.

2.

Steven Hinton racing North American P-51D Mustang “Voodoo” at the National Championship Air Races (NCAR) in 2014. Voodoo won the Unlimited Breitling Gold race at an average speed of 462.926 mph.

3.

Hawker Sea Fury T.20 “Dreadnought” being raced by Dennis Sanders at NCAR 2014. Dennis brought Dreadnought home in 3rd place during Sundays Unlimited Breitling Gold race.

4.

Stewart Dawson flew Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat “Rare Bear” during NCAR 2014. Owned by Lewis Air Legends it placed 7th on Sunday’s Unlimited Gold Breitling race after dropping out with engine issues.

5.

Korey Wells is seen taking off in the Sanders family Hawker Sea Fury T.20 “924” for Sunday’s Breitling Gold Unlimited race at NCAR 2014. Korey flew the stock Sea fury to a 5th place finish.

6.

Sherman Smoot fly’s the Yak-11 “Czech Mate” to a 2nd place finish during the Breitling Gold race at the 2014 NCAR.

7.

An Owen Defender (Serial# JD2, based in Newtonville, Ontario) is captured over Hawkfield, Ontario during the Orono fly-In.

8.

Bill Lewallen flying his beautifully restored Yakovlev Yak-11 “Maniyak” over the old WWII bombing ranges in south central Arizona.

9.

After completing the Customer Acceptance flights at Boeing in Everett, WA and the Pre Service Modifications (PSM) at ATS in Kansas City, MO, Captain Mark Watt and First Officer Doug Gilbart delivering Air Canada's first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (C-FNOE, c/n 35265/323). They arrived on Toronto Pearson International Airport's runway 23 from Kansas City as ACA7189 on Friday, July 31.
