Jimmy and Jim (son) Rollison flying up the Central California Valley from Paso Robles back to Yolo County in Northern Calif., back in June 2017. Owned by Chris Galloway and the Rollisons, this Executive configured Lockheed Lodestar started life as a Hudson Mk. IIIA destined for the UK, but never left the continent of North America, as the following day Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and plans for it changed. Following its military service the Hudson went through many owners and configurations, last working with Hawkins and Powers at Greybull, Wyoming. The plane has since been overhauled and painted, and used for leisure flights.
