Avro Lancaster B.I PA474 that is painted to represent EE139 “Phantom of
the Ruhr”, a ton-up bomber (over 100 ops completed). It is one of only
two flyable Lancasters in the world and is seen here over rural
Lincolnshire on September 27, 2009 with Sqn. Ldr. Stuart Reid as
Captain. |

by a team of engineers assembled by Brendon and is one of the nicest

Seen shooting an approach to RAF Lakenheath's runway
06/24, is KC-135R 63-8879 based at RAF Mildenhall and part of the 351st
Air Refueling Squadron, 100th Air Refueling Wing. The Wing has operated
the KC-135R since 1992 and has the distinctive black painted noses
around the cockpit windows. The unit is one of the busiest refueling
squadrons in the Air Force, supporting not only the European based
fighter squadrons, but also North Atlantic transient traffic and other
European nations. |
