Brent Conner in the Tillamook Air Museum’s Lockheed P-38L Lightning “Tangerine” leads Chris Fahey in the Planes of Fame Air Museum’s Lockheed P-38J Lightning “23 Skidoo” over Lake Matthews for an Air Classics magazine photo shoot at the 2013 POF Airshow. This years show is on May 3 & 4.

Chris Prevost flies his Grumman F3F-2 over Sonoma Valley. His pre-war fighter was one of three Grumman F3F's recovered from Hawaii and rebuilt to fly again, wearing its original paint scheme from 1938.

Les Marshall flies his Ryan PT-22 Recruit (ST3KR) in formation with Shane Papps in a 1951 Cessna L-19A Bid Dog over Auckland, NZ.

4.

The Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum's MiG-15UTI enthusiastically displayed by David Hayman & Rich Grinnell over St. George, Utah. This jet was recently sold to a new owner in Alabama.

5.

Seen at Flying Legends 2013 in Duxford, UK, is Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk 41-13297. Now owned by the Collings Foundation, the P-40B is the oldest flying example of its type and is one of two remaining airworthy aircraft from the December 7th, 1941 attacks on Pearl Harbor. The other survivor is Chuck Greenhill’s Grumman J2F-4 Duck.

6.

North American T-28C Trojan (Bu 140576, C/N 226-153) is seen flying over Toronto's Billy Bishop airport (CYTZ) on August 30, 2013. One of the Trojan Horsemen Aerobatic Formation Team’s aircraft it was in Toronto performing at the Canadian International Airshow.
