A rare formation of three Mitsubishi A6M Zeros at the 2012 Planes of Fame airshow in Chino, California. Jason Somes leads in the Commemorative Air Forces A6M3, followed by Ken Gotschall in an A6M2 and John Maloney in the Planes of Fames rare A6M5.

2.

Seen over Sonoma County are George and Carole Perez, taking an afternoon flight in their North American P-51D, which they have owned for almost 50 years. Prior to receiving its military markings, the Mustang wore a maroon civilian paint scheme with a large gold stripe down the side of the fuselage.

3.

Jim Beasley flying his Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVIII SM969 above Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport in Coatesville, PA.

4.

DeHavilland Twin Otter C-FWTE is seen still in the markings of WESTCOAST AIR on a sunny day over the Vancouver Harbour. Since being acquired by Harbour Air, the Twin Otters have been reduced in numbers in favour of the more economical DeHavilland Turbo Otters. Over the past several years, there have been several striking paint schemes worn by the fleet of Twin Otters. This one with the Seagull emblem being a favorite.

5.

Dave Phillips flies this magnificent DeHavilland Dragon Rapide in March 2010 following restoration by AVSPECS at Ardmore near Auckland, New Zealand. The aeroplane was exported to the USA for the Military Aviation Museum a few weeks after this photo was taken.

6.

A Lockheed F-117A Stealth Fighter performs a fly past at the 2005 National Championship Air Races held in Reno, NV.
