ALCA (Advanced Light Combat Aircraft) from Czech Air Force (CzAF) 212
squadron based at Caslav Air Base. 212 is the only squadron in the CzAF
equipped with the L-159. The aircraft is painted with tail art to
celebrate the 10th anniversary of the L-159 fleet in the Czech Air Force
and includes a stylized Czech republic national flag and an original
Aero Vodochody aircraft. |

S.C. Johnson & Son Sikorsky S-38 Flying Boat NC-6V
replica taking off at the EAA AirVenture 2006 in Oshkosh, WI. This
amphibious plane is an exact replica of the S-38 flown by Herbert
Johnson of the S.C. Johnson & Son wax company in 1935 on trips from
Wisconsin to Brazil in search of the perfect carnuba wax. The plane was
commissioned in 1998 by Herbert's son, Samuel C. Johnson, the 4th
generation leader of the family company based in Racine, Wisconsin. |

Sonoma, California, an area known for its wine. The S-1-A was the
predecessor to the Interstate L-6 that was built exclusively for the
Civilian Pilot Training Program during World War II. David and his son
Trevor fly the plane regularly out of Sonoma Skypark Airport. |
