Rob Erdos is seen flying the Vintage Wings of Canada's Hawker Hurricane Mk.IV KZ321 "The Flying Tin Opener" over Lake St. Clair in Ontario, Canada.

Jim Thomas flying Tony Banta's Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk prior to the start of the Saturday 2009 Planes of Fame Airshow in Chino, CA.

4.

Brian Sanders flying Tom Camp’s Grumman FM-2 Wildcat “Air Biscuit” from its home base in Hayward, CA to the Sanders Aeronautics facility in Ione, CA only days prior to setting a new Wildcat qualifying speed record of 312.605 mph at the 2010 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV.

Steve Petersen flying his Nanchang CJ-6A “China Doll” near South West Marlborough, New Zealand.

Coyle Schwab’s beautifully restored 1948 Cessna 195 flying over one of the many lakes during EAA AirVenture 2010 held in Oshkosh, WI.

Dan Martin rounds Pylon 8 in Sal Rubinos N.A P-51D Mustang "Grim Reaper" at the 2010 National Championship Air Races in Reno, NV. "Grim Reaper" was a P-51D of the 9th AF flown by Capt Lowell K. Brueland, 355th FS, 354th FG, 9th AF.

On October 3rd, Taigh Ramey made the first flight of his ex-firetanker Lockheed PV-2D Harpoon, from the Johnson Ranch located south of Clear Lake, CA. to its new home base at Vintage Aircraft at Stockton Airport. This was the first time this plane has flown since being brought to the ranch in 1994, and was the third from the last PV-2D to be built.

9.

Thunder Mustang being flown by Robert Burns following the completion of Warbirds Over Wanaka 2008. This aircraft is owned by a syndicate based in Ardmore airfield near Auckland, New Zealand and is very popular airshow aircraft. It is the only one flying in Australasia and is now more commonly known as “Tigers Blood”, reflecting the unique color scheme. More information can be found at www.kiwithunder.com.

Bill Austin’s Aero Vodochody L-39C Albatros (S/N: 132119) flypast at the 2010 Wings over Gatineau Airshow in Gatineau, Quebec.

Taken during one of the arrival days at the 2009 Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford, England, this French Navy Lynx HAS2, Serial 272 of 34F Flottille based at Lanvéoc-Poulmic, is decorated in Commemorative markings especially for the 2009 RIAT. The aircraft was decorated with two different markings on either side of the fuselage. This side represents the "Dragon of the Sea" motive of the squadron while the other side had a multi-color Flag. The Lynx also wears on the left sliding door a Medal to represent its participation as part of the United Nations Interim Force (UNIFIL) patrolling the coast of Lebanon in 2009. Both 31F and 34F Lynx HAS2 squadrons are usually deployed aboard the two Tourville class destroyers and seven Georges Leygues class frigates, which can support two helicopters onboard.
