1.

Seen over Mesa Arizona is Bob Odegaard in Tom Ungurean's F2G-1 Super Corsair Race 74, along with Larry Perkins in Ron Pratte's F2G-2 Super Corsair Race 57. This was shot during the very first air to air photo shoot of both flyable Super Corsairs. Dale Churchill was the camera plane pilot in his T-6G.

Steve McIntosh is seen flying the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museumís Fairey Firefly AS Mk.6 during practice for their 2011 airshow. The 2012 Hamilton Airshow will be held on June 16-17.

Arthur Dovey in his Yak-3 at Warbirds Over Wanaka 2010. Ray Hanna sent the aircraft (formerly a Yak-11) to Pioneer Aero in New Zealand to be restored and after completion it was flown to Wanaka and was purchased by Arthur. He enjoys flying in the mountains around Wanaka which offers some of the best scenery to be found anywhere on the planet.

The Great War Flying Museumís full scale replica Fokker D.VII being flown by Richard Sowden. The D.VII is powered by an inverted Fairchild Ranger 6-440-C5.

While in a holding pattern in an Antonov An-26 during a live gun firing exercise, a pair of Czech Air Force Saab JAS 39 Gripen form up before heading in for there runs. Both aircraft were loaded with 200 rounds of 20mm ammunition and on the right wing they have a training AIM-9 missile. The picture was taken about 50km south of Prague.

John Maloney flying Jack Croul's beautifully restored North American P-51D Mustang at the Planes of Fame Airshow 2007. This yearís show will be held on May 5-6.

7.

Mark Peterson is flying his Dornier GMBH Alpha-Jet with Gayle Sewell in the back seat over the San Rafael-Richmond Bridge on San Francisco Bay. An ex-Luftwaffe plane, the Germanís purchased 175 Alpha-Jets for the light strike role. While the German Alpha-Jets have a pointed nose, the French models have a rounded nose, making it easier to tell from a glance where the civilian models come from.

Mike Haiston flies his North American SNJ-5 near Russian River during a Pacific Coast Air Museum air show in Santa Rosa, California.

Seen at EAA Airventure 2011 at Oshkosh, WI is this beautifully restored 1942 Vultee BT-13A.

11.

Donald Williamsí 2005 Airmax Super Cub is seen at the Fly-In Splash on August 22, 2009 at Lake St. John Orillia, Ontario.

12.

Russia State Transport Company flight number RSD039 Ilyushin IL-96-300 (c/n 74393202019), RA-96019,departing Torontoís LBPIA Runway 23 on 28 June 2010 and destined for Astana, Kazakhstan, after being used to support the Russian delegation during the G8 and G20 Summit Conferences.
