Built from some 250 other Mustangs’ parts, Scott
"Scooter" Yoak is seen flying North American P-51D Mustang “Quick
Silver”. Quick Silver is a lasting tribute to all veterans! Bill Yoak
built Quick Silver during a lengthy restoration, the Mustang made its
debut in 2007. The fact that Bill Yoak is a master metal craftsman
reflects, quite literally in each and every panel and rivet that make up
Quick Silver. It is a look, touch, smell kind of airplane and the Yoaks
encourage people to look, touch and climb onto the aircraft at airshows,
while they explain what each color, marking and paint layout represent.
It is a patriotic Mustang, built by a patriotic father, and flown by a
patriotic son thankful for every freedom they enjoy. |
